Cases of house break-ins & thefts are increasing in Bhubaneswar, leaving the Commissionerate Police at its wit's end.

A married woman was stabbed by a youth at Jharana Nagar under Capital police limits in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday night. The victim succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday night, police said on Thursday. 

A person wanted for robbing a roadside fruit seller in the Badambadi area of Cuttack was arrested by police on Monday. 

She was brought to the nearest hospital by her in-laws, where the doctors announced her received dead. Her family members at Sundarpada have alleged murder owing to dowry demand by her in-laws.
