It is suspected that the miscreants used a gas cutter and other equipment to break open the ATM to steal the cash. Sources said that cash was filled in the ATM kiosk yesterday.

Not only these two incidents, a youth BJD leader Madhu Bisoi was also murdered at Kumarpani village last month. Similarly, one person had died in a political violence in Digapahandi area some six months back.

The arrested individual has been identified as Bharat Soni, a resident of Ujjain.

The minor boy was bludgeoned to death in Kacharapulia area under Tangarpali Police Station in Sundargarh district. The matter came to light after the family of the deceased lodged a complaint on September 25.

At least 12 persons have been arrested in connection with the incident. All the accused were nabbed following intense mobile phone tracking and examination of CCTV footages.
