The police stopped the ambulance carrying a patient and two of his relatives during a vehicle-check near Jodaamba Chhak. After searching the ambulance, the police found the contraband hidden in the vehicle.
As per reports, the ganja-laden SUV was detected by a police team during patrolling. Sources said that as the vehicle had a flat-tyre, the occupants of the car were replacing it when the police team reached the spot.
With the clock ticking, all eyes are now on the Crime Branch investigating the sensational case of the murder of Odisha Health Minister Naba Das.
The trio sustained serious bullet injuries in the attack and was immediately rushed Athagrah hospital. Later, they were shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack after their health condition deteriorated, sources informed.

According to sources, three persons of a family from Ramachandi village and one from Ranapur area in Nayagarh district have been arrested for smuggling the brown sugar.
