Vigilance seluths on Thursday stumbled upon bank deposits over 86 lakh in the accounts of Abhimanyu Chaudhury, Sub-Inspector posted at Tamando police station in Bhubaneswar. The raid were conducted on the properties linked to Chaudhury on the allegation of acquisition of disproportionate assets by Chaudhury.
The raids are being carried out by Vigilance officials led by 3 Dy.SPs, 11 Inspectors, 6 ASIs and other staff at three places in Bhubaneswar and Nayagarh.
Odisha Vigilance sleuths raided the house of an Asst Exec Engineer of the RWSS, Udala on Monday. The Engineer, Rabinarayan Panda was accused of amassing assets disproportionate to his known source of income.
