Vigilance seluths on Thursday stumbled upon bank deposits over 86 lakh in the accounts of Abhimanyu Chaudhury, Sub-Inspector posted at Tamando police station in Bhubaneswar. The raid were conducted on the properties linked to Chaudhury on the allegation of acquisition of disproportionate assets by Chaudhury.

The raids are being carried out by Vigilance officials led by 3 Dy.SPs, 11 Inspectors, 6 ASIs and other staff at three places in Bhubaneswar and Nayagarh.

Odisha Vigilance sleuths raided the house of an Asst Exec Engineer of the RWSS, Udala on Monday. The Engineer, Rabinarayan Panda was accused of amassing assets disproportionate to his known source of income.

Simultaneous raids were conducted in eight places linked to Panda including Bhubaneswar, Kendrapara and Udala.

But what left the Vigilance officials even more surprised was a whopping Rs 1.75 crore worth crypto currencies.

Five Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), 12 Inspectors, one Sub-Inspector, 11 ASIs and other staff including the constables carried out the raids in Khordha, Sambalpur and Bargarh.

Raids have been carried out on the property of Gangadhar Sahoo, who is posted at the office of block education officer (BEO) at Baunspal.

The Vigilance sleuths on Monday launched simultaneous raids at six places associated with Manas Ranjan Samal, Assistant Engineer of General Public Health Division-I, Bhubaneswar, following allegations that the officer has amassed property disproportionate to his known sources of income.

According to sources, simultaneous searches are being conducted in Cuttack, Jatani, Bhubaneswar, Jagatsingpur and Salipur by teams of the anti-corruption agency led by three DSPs, 11 Inspectors, two sub inspectors, five sub inspectors and other staff.

The vigilance officials have also unearthed a massive amount of cash from the locations as per the sources

Simultaneous raids were carried out on the property of Manoj Kumar Lenka, an assistant manager (civil) of IDCO, Bhubaneswar at several places in Khordha, Puri and Kendrapara districts.

Upon seizure of bribe money, the DSP's properties were raided.

According to sources, simultaneous raids were carried out at six places linked to Pani including his house and office.

Vigilance department sleuths on Friday recovered cash and other properties following raids on the residence of Danardan Sahu, Physical Education Teacher (PET) at Sri Dibyasimha Bidyapitha at Jayantipur under Jarada police limits of Ganjam district.
