A vigilance team raided the house of a Senior manager working with Odisha Construction Corporation Limited on Monday on charges of massing disproportionate assets

The Anganwadi worker, who had come under the vigilance scanner on Tuesday (Sept 14) for allegedly possessing assets disproportionate to her income, was arrested by Vigilance officials on Wednesday (Sept 15).

Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday (September 14) conducted raid on the houses and property of an Anganwadi worker from Bhubaneswar following allegations of possession of assets disproportionate to her known sources of income.

Simultaneous searches are being carried out by the officers of the anti-corruption agency at six different properties associated with Mathan. The sleuths have raided Mathan's maternal property in Pattamundai as well as her in-laws' house in Jagatsinghpur's Balikuda. 

Four teams comprising two DSPs, five inspectors and other staff of Odisha Vigilance carried out the raids at five places in Bhadrak and Balasore district. 

During the search, the Vigilance officials recovered Rs 3,51,300 from his possession.

Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday conducted raids in several parts of the state in separate cases on allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by two government officials.

The Vigilance department carried out simultaneous raids at several places related to six retired government officials in Odisha in connection with a land fraud case probe on Monday.

As many as 9 teams led by one Additional SP, 11 DSPs, 6 inspector rank officers are conducting the raids at multiple locations in the four districts.

The anti-graft agency arrested Surendra Sahu, the assistant programme officer of Nakatideula in Sambalpur and carried out raids at multiple houses of Rabindra Mohanty, a senior clerk at Puintala block in Bolangir district.

Huge sum of cash recovered during simultaneous vigilance raids at six places in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack on Friday. The raids were conducted at the residence of an Odisha govt official and other places linked to him.

The searches were conducted by various teams comprising 4 Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) rank officers, 13 Inspectors and other staff.
