A vigilance team raided the house of a Senior manager working with Odisha Construction Corporation Limited on Monday on charges of massing disproportionate assets
The Anganwadi worker, who had come under the vigilance scanner on Tuesday (Sept 14) for allegedly possessing assets disproportionate to her income, was arrested by Vigilance officials on Wednesday (Sept 15).
Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday (September 14) conducted raid on the houses and property of an Anganwadi worker from Bhubaneswar following allegations of possession of assets disproportionate to her known sources of income.
Simultaneous searches are being carried out by the officers of the anti-corruption agency at six different properties associated with Mathan. The sleuths have raided Mathan's maternal property in Pattamundai as well as her in-laws' house in Jagatsinghpur's Balikuda.
Four teams comprising two DSPs, five inspectors and other staff of Odisha Vigilance carried out the raids at five places in Bhadrak and Balasore district.
During the search, the Vigilance officials recovered Rs 3,51,300 from his possession.
