Some villagers first spotted Bhaskar’s body hanging from a tree a few yards from his house and immediately informed his family members. 

As per reports, the semi-high speed train from Puri to Howrah has been detained between Baitarani Road and Manjuri Road stations since 4.30 pm.

After the death of her father, the entire responsibility of running the family fell on the shoulders of her mother Rebati. Bringing up the two children was a top-of-mind priority for Rebati.

Bansidhar Rout was taken to a private hospital at Bhadrak bypass after he complained of blurred vision. After examination, Dr Santosh Singh at the hospital told him that he was suffering from cataract and it needed an operation.

The deceased has been identified as Nibedita Sahoo, daughter of one Nanda Kishore Sahoo of Dhusuri area in Bhadrak district.

“Under the influence of a prevailing low-level moist easterly from Bay of Bengal and middle and upper-tropospheric westerly trough, an increase in thunderstorm activity is very likely over districts of Odisha during next 4-5 days,” said IMD.

The body of the one and half years old boy was covered in a heap of salt. Even though the doctors declared the boy dead, the family members resorted to salt therapy to revive him.

The Bajrang Dal launched a state-wide agitation in front of all the Collectorates in Odisha protesting the alleged attack on its members during Hanuman Jayanti in Sambalpur.

As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), several parts of Odisha are likely to experience thunderstorm activity in the next five days.

With no sign of development in the situation, this is the third extension of the enforcement in a row.

The farmers of Basudevpur area had sold their paddy to Gadi Samabaya Samiti three months ago. But the money for the paddy they sold is yet to be credited to their accounts. 

The injured workers have been identified as Purna Chandra Sutar from Koranta and Bijay Kumar Behera from Randia in the district. They were employed as furnace charging car operators at the plant.

Now wheelchair fencer Madhusmita Sahu's poverty is coming in the way of her participation in international events. 

Local people rushed the children to the Tihidi government hospital. Later, they were shifted to the Bhadrak district headquarters hospital (DHH).
