In Odisha, a video featuring former block chairperson Manasi Sahoo claiming the MLA Bapi Byomakesh Ray and her husband, Ranjan Sahoo, would be responsible if she dies has gone viral. Recorded from a hospital, the video surfaced amidst election campaign after a photo was shared on social media.

As per police sources, three other aides of the accused in this connection are on the run.
