Bhadrak is a city of Odisha state in eastern India. It came into existence on 1 April 1993. According to legend, the city derives its name from the Goddess Bhadrakali whose temple is on the banks of the Salandi River. Dhamra, one of the deep draft ports of India which can accommodate super cape-size vessels is situated in Bhadrak. Bhadrak is also famous for Palua Ladu, special kind of sweet.
State Chief Electoral Officer Sushil Lohani asked to upload photos or videos of any such incident violating the ‘Model Code of Conduct’ on the C-Vigil mobile app. The CEO also assured that action will be taken within 100 minutes of receiving the complaint.

The complaints were registered at Dhamnagar Police Station under several sections after allegation about cash distribution to lure voters was received, informed the Odisha Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Sushil Lohani on Wednesday.
