Puri district is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus, Situated along the coast of Bay of Bengal in the state of Odisha. Puri is also known as Jagannath Puri. The deceased has been identified as Debasis Biswal. Another soldier was seriously injured in the incident and was evacuated immediately to the Army Hospital at Rajouri.
