Used ‘Rangabati’ song in my film after procuring rights: Nila Madhab Panda

Bhubaneswar: Odisha-born Bollywood filmmaker Nila Madhab Panda today said that he had used the cult and now controversial Sambalpuri song ‘Rangabati’ in his upcoming film ‘Kaun Kitney Paani Mein’ only after procuring rights from its music director and singer.

Panda, who had given a critically acclaimed film like ‘I AM KALAM’, told he had taken the rights two years ago, and he has the requisite permission to use this popular song in his next venture.

The song was shot in a beautiful way keeping the same feel and rhythm like the original version, which, i am sure, will never hurt anyone, Panda claimed.
