“On what basis VK Pandian is being provided Z category security? Why Pandian is so scared of people? He is neither an MLA nor an MP or in any constitutional post. He is just a member of the Biju Janata Dal(BJD),” the BJP asked.
BJP spokesperson Anil Biswal alleged, “The 5T was an undemocratic system and it was a political programme. The Election Commission of India has deemed it a political programme and took action. Rs 500 crore was spent for 5T publicity and Rs 50 to Rs 60 crore was spent towards helicopter rides.”
