Citing that a deep connection has developed with the people of Odisha despite the language barrier, PM Narendra Modi said that his roadshow in Bhubaneswar is going to be a turning point in the life of the State.   

While speaking to a national news channel during his roadshow in Bhubaneswar on Friday, PM Narendra Modi said that he has been to Odisha several times, but never witnessed such enthusiasm, passion and drive in the people of the State. 

After our long struggle, the people of Odisha are now determined to make the lotus of BJP bloom, said PM Narendra Modi.

PM Modi on BJP-BJD relationship 

 
Commenting about the relationship between the BJP and BJD, he said, “We have been two different parties. Prior to this, we have fought elections separately. We have been receiving cooperation on specific issues in the Parliament. But in the Assembly, we have been fighting against them.”

Common man feels cut off 

“This governance is bereft of Odia culture and the true aroma of Odia soil is not there. A common man feels cut off from the government. Even during the times of kings, there used to be a connection between the rulers and their subjects. There is no such connection here. In such a situation, it is the responsibility of the BJP to fulfil Odia people’s wishes," PM Modi said.
