Bureaucrat-turned-politician and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s close aide, VK Pandain found himself in an awkward situation when he received unexpected answers from the crowd during a public meeting.

As per reports, Pandian was addressing a gathering at an election meeting organised at Begunia in Khordha district on Thursday.

While addressing the crowd, Pandian asked the people whether the Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi had done anything for them. To his question, a party worker in the audience answered ‘yes’.

Pandian again asked whether the MP did anything for the unemployed youths, and another ‘yes’ was heard from the audience.
In fact, he expected the people to say ‘no’ to both questions.

The answers of the worker left Pandian in an embarrassing situation, forcing him to ask the organisers to switch the particular microphone off.

Then he went on to say to the people that the MP has done nothing for the people of the constituency.

No comments in this regard were received from Pandian or BJP’s Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha candidate Aparajita Sarangi.
