Bullets Fly In Bhubaneswar As Neighbours Fight Over Vehicle Parking    

Panic gripped Jagamara area under Khandagiri police limits in Bhubaneswar today after a trivial fight over vehicle parking between two neighbours led to gunshots.  According to initial reports, two neighbours, both stated to be businessmen, got into a disagreement over parking of vehicle at around 4 pm. The quarrel escalated as one of them pulled out a gun and opened fire. The man fired three shots in the air from a licenced pistol. 6-Year-Old Girl Succumbs To Covid-19 In Balasore


In a tragic COVID-19 case involving a child, a six-year-old girl succumbed to the disease in Odisha's Balasore district. The State on Friday confirmed seven more deaths, including the six-year-old girl, due to Covid-19 infection, taking the death toll to 8,035. A total of two fatalities were reported from Ganjam and one each from Balasore, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Kendrapara and Puri.

Meanwhile, the Covid positive tally in Odisha also rose to 10,10, 072 after as many as 849 people tested positive for the virus including 120 in the 0-18 years’ age group on Friday. Khordha reported the highest 341 cases followed by Cuttack (117). The active cases in the State have now reached to 7,345.
