Three bikers were fatally injured in a road accident involving a speeding truck on NH-55, Odisha. The incident caused significant traffic disruption, with the driver currently absconding.

All deceased were reportedly residents of Dhanapur and Sanapindapadar in Koraput district

According to police, on Sunday, a PCR call about an accident was received following which a team rushed to the scene near Fatehchand Kachori Shop on Rajpur Road, Civil Lines, Delhi, and found a white-coloured Mercedes car in a wrecked condition.
Sources said the incident occurred while the villagers were returning home after watching a dance festival organised on the occasion of Dola Purnima.
According to sources, the three deceased were going on a motorbike when they lost balance on their two-wheeler and rammed into a truck.
Three persons hailing from Sargipalli Lokadega area were going on a bike to Darlidhipa. It was stated that the three were going to their relative’s house.
“I can’t even imagine how much the hospital will charge when they fix her brain. We are waiting for her to stabilize a bit to do further operations, she already had two cardiac arrests,” informed her friend Remyaa.
All the injured have been admitted to Kundura community health center (CHC). The critical will be shifted to Jeypore or Koraput after preliminary treatment at the CHC.
