Even though six days have passed since Subhalaxmi’s body was found in a hotel room in Bhubaneswar, the suspense over her death is yet to end.

According to advocate Satya Bohidar, the Crime Branch in its charge-sheet has mentioned deceased Naba Das as the first witness. 

As per the police, their modus operandi involved taking gullible people into confidence by posing as police officers.

While the reason behind the firing is unknown, the Police have reached the spot and launched a probe in this connection.

Sidhu, the India head of ‘STA Crypto token’ was arrested by the EOW from Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan. Apart from Sidhu, EOW had also arrested Nirod Das of Bhadrak, who is the Odisha head of STA, (Solar Techno Alliance).

At gunpoint, the miscreants made him call his wife and demand Rs 1 lakh as ransom.

The Police are trying to ascertain the exact cause behind Subhalaxmi’s death. Meanwhile, the post-mortem report revealed that Subhalaxmi died of asphyxiation. Subhalaxmi had checked into the hotel located in Laxmisagar area at 3.20 am on Friday.

Kamana Sethi, a resident of Shantipalli slum, has accused Bhima Sethi of the same locality of beating up the stray dog without any valid reason. 

Apart from Sidhu, EOW also arrested Nirod Das of Bhadrak who is the Odisha head of STA, (Solar Techno Alliance), which was launched in September 2021.

Balasore SP, Sagarika Nath informed that a total of 14 persons were involved in the bank dacoity. Out of which, four persons had masterminded the entire incident.

As per initial reports, the accused youth, whose identity is yet to be ascertained, attacked the meter reader as he was aggrieved over the high electricity bill. The deceased meter reader has been identified as Laxminarayan Tripathy.

On Saturday, the girl student went to sleep after completing her studies. Suspicion grew after she did not open the door of her room the next day. Later, she was found hanging in the room.

The accused were identified as Dasharathiti Khara and Gopi Jala.

During the period from September 2021 to September 2022, Asutosh Acharya in conspiracy with the arrested accused persons fraudulently recommended and processed the loans.
