BJP National Vice President Baijayant Panda has slammed Odisha government alleging deterioration of law and order situation in the State. Panda questioned CM Naveen Patnaik’s role in running the government in the State.
Panda, who joined the party’s protest in front of Raj Bhavan over the deteriorating law and order situation in Odisha, asked ‘who is actually running the government in Odisha’ and demanded resignation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik as ‘it has now become clear that the CM is not running the government’.
The BJP National Vice-President is currently on a two-day visit to Koraput to take stock of the ongoing organisational work by the party.
The BJP leader also discussed several issues with leaders and karyakartas of Phampuni mandal and Jeypore mandal and criticised the schemes of the state government.
While addressing a public meeting at Banapur, BJP National Vice-President Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda said, “Time has come for a change in Odisha. India’s image has changed under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. If the scenario has to change in Odisha, it will happen the day people decide.”
The BJP VP clarified that there was no political motive behind his visit.
Meanwhile, issues like farmers’ problems, district status to Padampur and acute migration problems are taking centre stage in the campaign.
According to Panda, BJP has undertaken a lot of activities and campaigns across the country under the leadership of JP Nadda. Due to the efforts of karyakartas, BJP is now the No.2 party in Odisha.
