BJP works from ground floor, not 2nd or 3rd floor: Jay Panda

BJP National Vice-President Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda on Thursday took a dig at the functioning of the ruling BJD.

While addressing the ‘Shakti Kendra Karyakarta Samavesh’ which was attended by BJP National President JP Nadda, Panda said, “The Saffron party is now the largest party in the world. Due to the hardwork of karyakartas and leaders of the party, Narendra Modi has been able to give India a new face. There was a time when India used to seek help of others in times of emergency. But under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is now in a position to help other nations.”

JP Nadda arrived in Bhubaneswar on a two-day visit to the State and his visit assumes significance ahead of the 2024 elections.

According to Panda, BJP has undertaken a lot of activities and campaigns across the country under the leadership of JP Nadda. Due to the efforts of karyakartas, BJP is now the No.2 party in Odisha.

“I am sure that BJP will emerge as the No.1 party in Odisha in a short span of time,” he said.

Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, a common man can now dream of reaching the top position.

"It is a matter of pride for us that Droupadi Murmu, who hails from Odisha, has now become the President of India. The BJP is the only party which works for the development of the nation. BJP works on ground floor not from any 2nd or 3rd floor,” said Panda.

Later in the day, BJP National President JP Nadda came down heavily on the ruling BJD government in Odisha and Congress.
