As per Sambalpur SP B Gangadhar, the curfew will be relaxed further in the next one or two days as the situation has improved.

Sambalpur Collector, Ananya Das said, "Several exams are going on smoothly and the situation is overall peaceful. The administration is keeping a close watch on the situation. Patrolling is also being intensified."
As some of the accused have fled Sambalpur, special teams have been formed and further investigation in this connection is underway.
Senior police officials said that 30 more persons have been arrested in connection with the large-scale violence that was reported in Sambalpur.
The administration has announced relaxations in the prevailing curfew situation in the city keeping in view the NDA, CDS, and High Court ASO exams scheduled for today.
“We have exempted the students from the curfew between 7:30am and 10:30am and between 4pm and 6pm to allow movement to and from the exam centres in Sambalpur,” Ananya Das informed.
