As per the previous announcement, the Sambalpur district administration, in view of the curfew restrictions, on Sunday made elaborate arrangements for aspirants of various recruitment examinations for safe passage to their respective exam centres.

The administration has announced relaxations in the prevailing curfew situation in the city keeping in view the NDA, CDS, and High Court ASO exams scheduled for today. The students have been exempted from the curfew between 7:30 am and 10:30 am and between 4 pm and 6 pm to allow movement to and from the exam centres in Sambalpur.

"I had come from Jharsuguda and I was really worried as the reporting time was 9 am. However, when we reached Sambalpur, we found that the administration has made special transport provisions for the aspirants," said a student.

Another aspirant said, "It was really a tense situation as the curfew is in place. We are thankful that the administration has provided us bus and police personnel have also been deployed in the vehicle for our safety."

A senior administrative official said, "There are several examinations including CDS, High Court ASO exam. Nearly, 3000 aspirants are likely to appear in the examinations. We have set up a special helpline to assist and extend all help to the aspirants. We have made bus arrangements at Khetrajpur and Ainthapali and other parts of the town. We are arranging special vehicles to ensure that the aspirants reach their venue without any hassles."

According to the district administration, the aspirants coming to Sambalpur in their own vehicle can reach their examination centre by showing their identity or admit cards.
