The bizarre incident of a Sarpanch aspirant getting herself out of the fray within 24 hours of filing nomination papers has raised many eye brows. 

The police said all the arrested wildlife criminals are residents of Sundargarh district.

The Deogarh district administration said that the positive students and staff have been isolated and all the Covid-19 protocols, sanitation and containment, are being followed at the school. If need arises, people will also be shifted to hospital.

Three armed miscreants abducted him at gunpoint and forced him to sit in the back seat of his car. While one of the miscreants settled beside him pointing a gun on his head, another youth was driving the car.

The accused have been identified as Ranjan Kumar Padhi of Sakhipada and Kailash Chandra Sahu from Sindurapanka village in Sambalpur district

Acting on a tip-off, a special team of the department headed by DFO Khyama Sarangi conducted a raid and caught Prahallad red-handed while he was making a deal to sell the skin on Wednesday.
