So far, the STF has seized as many as 26 leopard skins, 15 elephant tusks, seven deer skins, 11 live pangolins, 19.5 kg of pangolin scales, two leopard teeth, 29 leopard claws, 46 live wild parrots, and arrested 60 persons.
The police said all the arrested wildlife criminals are residents of Sundargarh district.
The STF has already launched a special drive against wildlife criminals/poachers. During last one year, the STF seized as many as 21 leopard skins, 11 tusks, two deer skins, rescued seven live pangolins, 15 kilograms of pangolin scales, and arrested 46 wildlife criminals.
