Petcoke transportation issue at Paradip port settled partially
Paradip: The petcoke transportation row at Pardip port today ended partially after the truck owners’ association agreed to allow 15 Hiwa trucks laden with petcokes for shipment.
The truck owners’ association, which has been opposing transportation of petcoke in Hiwa truck from IOCL refinery to Paradip Port, relented after Additional Collector Biswajit Biswal intervened and held talks with the truckers.
Biswal informed newsmen further course of action will be decided after a joint meeting between the truckers and the district administration.
