A Microsoft global outage has disrupted flight services at Bhubaneswar's Biju Patnaik International Airport, affecting airlines like IndiGo, Akasa Air, Vistara, and SpiceJet. The outage, linked to a recent CrowdStrike update, also impacted sectors worldwide. Manual check-ins are causing delays at the airport.

A Bhubaneswar-bound Air India Express flight was diverted to Kolkata due to severe weather, stranding passengers who were later asked to return at their own expense. Following passenger outrage, arrangements were made for their return.

Escorted by Odisha Police, three lorries carried the dismantled portions of the aircraft from Kolkata's Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport to the Odisha capital, where they will be reassembled.
