As per police sources, the FIR was registered following a complaint from Moharana’s parents who alleged that a girl, who is said to be the girlfriend of the deceased, and her male friend are responsible for his death.

The victim, Manoj Sethi is reportedly a contractor residing in VSS Nagar area. He was rescued from a house in Gadakana on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.
