“At around 2 pm, we came out of the SBI branch. I withdrew Rs 3 lakh from my father’s account for house construction. We were coming to our house. Just a few yards away from our house, I was just about to get off the bike, two miscreants riding on a bike came and sped away after snatching the cash bag that contained the money withdrawn, my own Rs 25,000 cash and other documents including my ATM card. Then I went to the police station to register a complaint,” said Pratima.

On the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim, the police reached the spot, collected CCTV footage, and launched a probe.
