The death toll in today’s road mishap in Sambalpur rose to ten with three more persons succumbing to injuries at the hospital. Earlier, seven persons were killed and three others critically injured in a road accident on NH-55 near Bhawanipalli under Jujumara police limits.

Dhenkanal: Around 50 bus passengers had a narrow escape when the vehicle turned turtle near Jharagadia today. The driver and other staff of the bus ‘Nilakantha’ fled the spot after the mishap. The ill-fated bus was going towards Angul from Cuttack. Local police reached the spot and started preliminary probe into the accident.
