Three youths burnt alive as car catches fire in Sundergarh

Sundergarh: Three youths were burnt alive as their car caught fire after colliding with a tree at Sukhajor under Lephripara PS in Sundergarh district late on Tuesday night.

As per an eye witness, the speeding car lost control and crashed into a tree. Its engine caught fire and suddenly engulfed the whole vehicle. The three persons present inside the car were charred to death inside their vehicle as they could not get out.

Police have started an on spot investigation. After preliminary inspection it was found that all three of them were travelling towards Hemgiri.

While one of them was identified as Biswajit Kar, a finance company employee from Koraput, the other two Rahul Pasayat and Loknath Garadia were locals of Chhatenpalli area in the district.
