Jharsuguda: In an unfortunate and deadly road accident, a car driver was charred to death in the moving vehicle near Pradhanpara football field on Katujor-Pipilimal road under Belpahar police limits. According to sources, the incident occurred at around 7:30PM and the locals spotted the burning car and informed the police.

Soon, police and fire tenders arrived at the spot and doused the flames. However, the driver was completely charred beyond recognition.

The car has been identified as a Hyundai i-20. Sources informed that the car caught fire after its chassis hit a stone.

Meanwhile, the deceased driver was identified as a Special Class Contractor of Belpahar, Pramod Kumar Agrawal. He was the Managing Director of Ashok Bricks Industries (ABI) Pvt Limited.
