Police on Monday arrested notorious robber Godhi for his alleged involvement in the loot incident that took place at Damana village under Chandrasekharpur Police limits of Bhubaneswar on January 1 night.
Throwing an open challenge to the Commissionerate Police, robbers allegedly broke into a house at Jagannath Nagar under Laxmisagar Police limits in Bhubaneswar and decamped with gold jewellery worth lakhs of rupees late at night on December 31.
The loot is suspected to be the work of some professional looters as they have also taken away hard disks and computers from the bank, and have also broken the CCTV camera

A gang of miscreants reportedly broke into the temporary panchayat office on Saturday night and looted assets including LED TV, computer, and CCTV cameras among others. They even didn’t spare important documents.
Sources said that the miscreants have looted the valuables after gaining entry by breaking the grille and locks of the concerned flats. It is said that the robbers have decamped with gold ornaments and other valuables worth Rs 1 crore
