School children thwart loot bid in Bhubaneswar in exemplary display of courage

Some school students on Saturday showed exemplary courage and overpowered a thief while he was trying to loot from a jewellery shop near the Palasuni Branch of the State Bank of India under Mancheswar Police limits in Bhubaneswar. 

According to sources, some school students were returning from their school when they saw a miscreant fleeing from the jewellery shop carrying the looted items. Without losing a moment, the students leaped towards him and overpowered him. He had sprayed a chemical at the shopkeeper to loot the valuables.

Hearing the commotion, local people rushed to the spot and gave the accused a good thrashing before handing him over to the police. 

Registering a case, the Mancheswar Police is investigating the case. The cops are interrogating the culprit, informed sources. 
On the other hand, local people were all praises for the brave schoolchildren for whom a thief was caught and the shop was saved from being burgled.
