Cuttack has a rich maritime history which says that the traders’ sons (Sadhab pua) use to go to Java Sumatra Island to do business and brings lot of wealth here. To recollect this history every year Baliyatra, a weeklong festival is being organized here. Cuttack is the birth place of Subash Chandra Bose. Cuttack has so many special thing to know like here the feeling of sahi -bhai (Neighborhood) is very strong .Cuttack Khati (where group of friends, or people chatting on variety of subjects) is also very popular .Cuttack‘s delicious Dahibara- Allodium attracts many.
