Bhubaneswar is the capital of Odisha .It is the biggest city and the main power corridor of Odisha. The city is famous for its ancient rich heritage especially its historic monumental temples. It is popularly known as the temple city. Because many temples built from sandstone are dotted around Bindu Sagar Lake in the old city, including the 11th-century Hindu Lingaraja Temple.
From the photographs, the dismissed Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Gopal can be seen standing right in front of health minister Naba Das. However, the photograph which went viral on Monday doesn’t clearly indicate whether Gopal was carrying a gun in his hand or not.
This latest incident was reported on the first day of the budget session of the Odisha Assembly. Members of the media fraternity including journalists & photo journalists had turned up at the Odisha Assembly premises to cover the proceedings on Tuesday.

Taking a swipe at the Odisha Crime Branch, senior Cong leader Narasingha Mishra said, “The Crime Branch should have conducted press meets on a daily basis to inform the people about the developments in the case."
Responding to media queries, Majhi said, “The DGP is silent even if 23 days have passed since the murder of Naba Das. He is DGP only in pen and paper. But the real DG is on the third floor of the Odisha Secretariat.”
The corporation meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mayor Sulochana Das at the new BMC building. The meeting was attended by the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Commissioner and all corporators.
While the entire State is eagerly waiting to know the motive behind the murder of the minister, neither the probing agency nor the Odisha DGP Sunil Bansal has uttered a single word in this regard.
According to a notification issued by the Commissionerate Police, the traffic regulations will remain in force on all days from 21 February 2023 to 1 March 2023 and 10 March 2023 to 6 April 2023.
