Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will be inaugurating the programme on November 10.

Naveen Patnaik requested the PM to instruct the Ministry of Rural Development for timely release of funds for wage and material payment under MGNREGS. 

The Orissa High Court on Monday (Nov 1) allowed sale and use of green crackers during this year’s Diwali celebrations on November 4. As per the court order, only crackers certified by Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO) can be used.
