Three bikers were killed by a speeding truck near Darlipali NTPC Power Plant in Odisha's Sundargarh. Locals protested by blocking roads, demanding the truck driver's arrest. The incident caused significant local outrage and disruptions.

A picnic turned tragic after three including two minors went missing while taking a bath in Ib River in Sundargarh on Saturday.
As per reports, the three students of Banadurga Anchalika Ucha Bidyalaya had gone to the local market to buy puja articles for Saraswati Puja celebrations at the school. They were returning to the school on a bike carrying the puja articles when an unidentified vehicle hit them from behind.
The injured people were admitted to Dharmagarh, Junagarh and Bhawanipatna hospitals.
Following the accident, Majhi was rushed to Umerkote Hospital and was discharged after primary treatment, sources said.
