The tragic incident came to the fore after the body of the deceased was found hanging in his house on Tuesday with a suicide note addressed to his mother. As per the suicide note, he ended his life after losing Rs 10,000 in online gaming.

The student’s father Ganeswar Mohanty alleged the college authorities had been protecting the three students who are responsible for their daughter’s death. 

Richa Mishra, a Commerce student of the institute, had ended her life on November 18, 2005. The suicide note she had left behind had led to the arrest of three lecturers. 

The incident was reported from Machilipatnam town of Andhra Pradesh's Krishna district on Sunday.

Three women, who were found hanging from a tree near Tohara village under Umerkote police limits in Nabarangpur district on Saturday night, were adults, informed Umerkote Tehsildar.

The deceased, Sumati Parida, was a resident of Padmapur area under Basudevpur block in Bhadrak district. Her husband Ramakant Parida had hanged himself to death on March 13. 

As per reports, Soumitra was doing online trading along with some of his friends. However, he was incurring all the losses as he had linked his own bank account to fund the trading for the entire group.
