A few hours after nabbing Lady blackmailer Archana Nag's husband Jagabandhu Chand, the police arrested him on Friday. Commissionerate of Police sources have confirmed it that Jagabandhu has been arrested.

Lady blackmailer Archana Nag's husband Jagabandhu Chand was picked up from his Satya Vihar residence in Bhubaneswar this morning. His arrest came after the police had several clues proving his involvement in the high-profile honey trap racket. 

The infamous tale of the lady blackmailer continues with the illegal property of her father in Kesinga. Archana’s parents reside in the building located in the foothills of Budhadangara. However, a complaint is filed that the building was erected on the land owned by a tailor Hrushikesh Mahala. Archana’s father Surendra Nag forcefully removed Hrushikesh in 2019 and erected the building. 

Gone are the days of luxury for Archana Nag. It’s been more than 10 days that the lady blackmailer has been lodged in Jharpada jail in Bhubaneswar. She rode high-end cars and slept in the luxury lap in her bungalow for years, but life is completely upside down for her now.

Notably, the court had on Friday reserved the order on her bail plea after hearing arguments from the counsels appearing for the accused as well as the prosecution.

The SDJM court on Friday reserved the order on the bail plea filed by Archana Nag, the lady blackmailer.Accused of honey trapping bigwigs including politicians, producers, directors, businessmen and government officials and extracting crores after blackmailing them with private videos and pictures, Nag had applied for bail in the SDJM court.

Archana Nag is now the cynosure of the media and sensational stories keep coming in about her activities that brought her both wealth and status in quick time.

With Archana’s crime syndicate laid bare, her journey from rags to riches has become an open secret. Her properties include a palatial building, luxurious cars and several other costly possessions. 

There are reports that majority of the MLAs trapped by Archana Nag are from Naveen Patnaik-led BJD government.
