It's been over a decade now, but, there is no update on the same. Meanwhile, recently, Arshad Warsi broke his silence about the third instalment of the Munna Bhai series.
Recently, during an interview, the Jolly LLB actor said that the Munna Bhai film franchise is on interval and added that everyone is impatient because it is not over yet.
According to media reports, when Arshad was asked whether the third instalment of the Munna Bhai franchise was being made, Arshad said, "Vidhu Vinod Chopra wants to make it. Rajkumar Hirani also wants it to be made, and Sanjay Bhai also wants to do it and I will do it too. But the film is not being made yet."
Arshad, who is loved for his character Circuit in the Munna Bhai franchise, further added, "Raju has three great scripts for the 3rd instalment. Some things are missing here and there. I don't think that's happening. Now a lot of time has passed. I told Raju that whatever begins, also has an end."
"Looks like we left the Munna Bhai film franchise on interval. Everyone is impatient because it is not over yet. Munna Bhai series needs to end," he added.
Well, the Munna Bhai franchise's 3rd instalment is undeniably one of the much-anticipated movies. While the teaser launch of Munna Bhai Chale America filled excitement among all, the movie was reportedly shelved, disheartening the fans. However, fans would certainly wait for it, no matter, how long it takes.
On the work front, Arshad Warsi will be seen in Jolly LLB 3, also starring Akshay Kumar and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles. The shooting has kicked off recently and the makers dropped the first glance of the courtroom drama. Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt will be seen in Welcome To The Jungle and has several other movies in the pipeline.
