The night temperature across Odisha is likely to fall by 2-3 degrees from today. As per latest weather reports, dry weather is likely to prevail over all districts during the next 5 days. In capital city Bhubaneswar, minimum temperature will hover around 13 degree Celsius.
As winter sets in, fog and chill cloak the mornings in rural areas of Koraput, Odisha.
As per the data provided by the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar, after Phulbani, the tourist attraction Daringibadi and Koraput town, each recorded a minimum temperature of 7.5 degree Celcius.
Officials confirmed that the temperature will further plunge, ranging from 3 to 4 degrees Celsius from Friday.
Odisha is starting to experience severe cold wave as mercury has plummeted further in the state. Daringbadi, the Kashmir of Odisha, was the coldest with night temperature dropping in the area to 6.5 degree Celsius. While eight places recorded temperature below 10 degrees, twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar shivered at 12 degrees and 12.2 degrees, respectively.
