The night temperature across Odisha is likely to fall by 2-3 degrees from today. Daringbadi in Odisha recorded season’s lowest minimum temperature of 4 degree Celsius last night. Weather scientist Umashankar Das informed that chilling weather conditions will prevail in Odisha for another 3-4 days.
As per latest weather reports, dry weather is likely to prevail over all districts during the next 5 days. In capital city Bhubaneswar, minimum temperature will hover around 13 degree Celsius.

As per the Indian Meteorological Department’s (IMD) mid-day bulletin, Conditions are favourable for further advancement of the south-west Monsoon into some more parts of south Bay of Bengal, the entire Andaman Sea and the Andaman Islands and some parts of east-central Bay of Bengal during next 2-3 days.

Past data suggest that there is no association of the date of monsoon advance over the Andaman Sea either with the date of monsoon onset over Kerala or with the seasonal monsoon rainfall over the country, the IMD pointed out.
Fairly widespread to widespread light/moderate rainfall is very likely to occur over Andaman & Nicobar Islands during next five days.
