Two injured in wild boar attack

Bolangir: In another incident of man-animal conflict, a woman and her daughter were critically injured after they were attacked by a wild boar in Bolangir on Sunday.

According to information, Kuni Parua and her daughter Brundabati were attacked by a boar while they were busy collecting mahula from a forest nearby Sirabahal village under Tushura police limits.

The duo was later rushed to district headquarters hospital where they are now undergoing treatment. Meanwhile, Brundabati’s health condition is said to be critical.

“We were picking up mahula when the boar attacked us, Kuni told reporters.”
