BJP to protest against govt in all blocks on July 29
Bhubaneswar: Odisha BJP will launch an agitation against the State government for its failure on multiple fronts, including the omission of eligible beneficiaries in the list of beneficiaries under the National Food Security Act (NFSA).
According to sources, the saffron party will stage demonstrations in front of all block offices on July 29 highlighting a host of issues ranging from failure to provide input subsidy to drought affected farmers to the non-inclusion of Odisha farmers in the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana.
“Whether it’s the Kandhamal killings or the malnourishment in Nagada , Jajpur, the government has failed on all fronts. Our party will launch a protest against the State government on July 29 at all block offices to highlight the failures of the government,” said Odisha BJP president Basant Panda.
