Positioned near latitude 15.4°N and longitude 91.2°E, it is set to become a cyclonic storm by 23 October 2024 and further intensify into a severe cyclonic storm by 24 October. The system will likely impact north Odisha and West Bengal coasts between Puri and Sagar Island.
