Nandankanan Zoological Park, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the State, will be developed into a world-class zoo.
The Nandankanan Zoological Park in Bhubaneswar will remain closed for visitors for five days from December 30, 2021, Zoo Deputy Director Sanjeet Kumar informed on Wednesday.
After a brief hiatus, the newly launched eco-friendly toy train facility has once again chugged off in the Nandankanan Zoological Park in Bhubaneswar, much to the delight of tourists visiting the park this holiday season.
Nandankanan Zoo Deputy Director Sanjeet Kumar informed that the engine of the train caught fire after the 4 pm ride following which it was stopped to avoid any mishap.
The zoo authorities have rolled out the joy ride from today which will provide visitors an unique experience of sightseeing in the natural aura of the zoo on train wheels.
After a 7-year long hiatus, the toy train ride at Nandankanan Zoological Park is set to roll out again from Friday (October 8). All possible arrangements have been made by the concerned administration for resuming the train services.
