Defeated BJD MLA candidates hold clandestine meeting in Bhubaneswar hotel!

At a time when it is being discussed in political corridors that the fissure in BJD is only widening with each passing day, a closed-door meeting of the party’s unsuccessful MLA candidates in a hotel in Bhubaneswar has added fuel to the fire. 

As per reports, as many as seven BJD leaders who unsuccessfully contested the 2024 Assembly elections assembled in a hotel in Bhubaneswar. Basudevpur’s former MLA Bishnubrata Routray, Bargarh’s former MLA Debesh Acharya, Cuttack Sadar’s former MLA Chandra Sarathi Behera, Paradip’s former MLA Sambit Routray, Dharmasala’s former MLA Pranab Balabantaray, Pipili’s former MLA Rudra Pratap Maharathy and Rajnagar’s former MLA Anshuman Mohanty are learnt to have had a meeting in the hotel.

Meanwhile, OTV has accessed an exclusive photo of the meeting. 

Even though none of the leaders is yet to open up about what prompted them to have such a clandestine meeting, it is being discussed that they are not satisfied with the present state of affairs prevailing in the party. 

No reactions were received from the BJD in this regard.
