Odisha: Road Mishaps In Separate Places Leave Several Dead, Wounded

At least four people were killed and several wounded in road accidents at separate places in the State on Saturday.

In Ganjam district, a tractor overturned after its driver lost control over the vehicle near Nuapalli village in Ganjam block leaving as many as 2 people killed. Sources said both the driver and the helper of the tractor died on the spot. Two other people were also injured during the mishap and they have been admitted to hospital in critical conditon.

Similarly, two people including the driver of a car were killed after the vehicle crashed into a roadside tree on Cuttack-Paradip road near Choudhurigada in Jagatsinghpur district. A woman and a ten-year-old boy suffered critical injuries in the accident. They have been shifted to Cuttack SCB Hospital.

Brown Sugar Worth Over Rs 1 Cr Seized In Bhadrak, 4 Held
