Vikash Sharma

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday made serious allegations that Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is now in some hostage situation. While talking to reporters in Sambalpur, Sarma said, “I only understand that the T in 5T here means Tamil Nadu and we have to form BJP government in Odisha as it is a matter of Odia Asmita now.”

According to Sarma, the Odisha government has outsourced the governance and hidden the Ratna Bhandar keys. Not a single BJD leader is being seen as one person, VK Pandian has hijacked everything here in the state, he alleged.

There is no Chief Minister in Odisha. Nobody knows whether the CM here is unwell, good or what he is thinking. He (CM) only speaks whatever Pandian gives him in writing, he alleged.

“I urge senior citizens to meet and interact with the CM on how he is feeling. I feel that Naveen babu is in hostage situation.  I feel that if anyone meets and speaks to the CM without the presence of VK Pandian for 10 minutes, he will certainly cry,” said the Assam CM.

Naveen Babu is not ruling the state. Keep Pandian out of the room for 10 minutes and then only we can know what is really going on, said Sarma.

“Naveen babu is the only CM in the country with whom no one can speak alone while Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, WB CM Mamata Banerjee are meeting and speaking to people face-to-face. But here in Odisha, the CM cannot do anything without the instructions of VK Pandian as he has been held hostage. The entire truth will come out if anyone, be it High Court Judges or senior citizens meet Naveen babu alone,” said Sarma.

VK Pandian is the CM here and he makes Naveen Babu sign on documents. There will be no BJD after the election results as those having self-respect will join the BJP. Those who care for Odia Asmita will not stay in BJD and they will join the BJP. The BJD will be dismantled once the BJD MLAs and Ministers are defeated in the polls. We want to remove Pandian and make an Odia CM in the state, said the Assam CM.

When Pandian leaves Odisha on June 11, the people of the state will come to know about a lot of facts, he said.

No comments could be obtained from the ruling BJD over the allegation of the Assam Chief Minister.
