As per the official notification, as many as 40,611 students have been selected in the second round merit selection. Earlier, it was decided that these students will take admission between September 24-28 and final data of students will be uploaded between September 24-29.

A student from Ganjam's Bhanjanagar received an unpleasant surprise on Wednesday (Sept 22). Despite clearing the Plus-exams conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) earlier, he later discovered that he has failed.
The CHSE results declared under the alternative evaluation method showed that he had passed the exams with 238 marks. However, when he reached the college a few days later to claim the TC for admission in Diploma course at a technical institute, he found that he has failed in the exams.
