  • The Department of Higher Education (DHE), Odisha has released the merit list on the SAMS portal.

The much awaited second selection merit list for admissions into various Plus 3 courses in degree colleges across Odisha was published on Thursday.

The Department of Higher Education (DHE), Odisha has released the merit list on the SAMS portal.

As per an official notification, as many as 40,611 students have been selected in the second round merit selection. This year, a total of 2,44,252 students had applied for the Plus 3 admission.

Official sources said that out of the total 36,683 students, who have applied for slide up option, 15,232 students have been selected.

The BJB college in the State capital continues to remain the first choice for students in the second merit list selection.

The BJB college recorded cut off of 88.8 per cent in commerce, 95.17 in physics, 89.33 per cent in Arts and 95 per cent in Zoology.

It is pertinent to mention here that as many as 1,68,537 students were selected in the first phase for admission in various degree colleges across the State. As per the notification issued by the Department of Higher Education Department, a guideline will be subsequently issued for filling up vacant seats, if any.
