In a letter to the vice-chancellors of all universities and principals of colleges, the UGC has stated that the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) may open campuses while keeping in mind the Covid-19 situation in their respective regions.
The University Grants Commission said IIPM, New Delhi is neither entitled to award any UG or PG degree, including BBA/IMBA/BCA nor is it recognised by UGC.
Three sites from Odisha--Konark, Chilika Lake and the Udaigiri-Khandagiri caves--have featured in the list of 100 sites identified by the Ministry of Tourism.
The UGC has also asked the universities and colleges to conduct these events at regular intervals by following the Covid-19 protocols and social distancing norms in their respective educational institutions.
